Percussionist Katie Brubaker has been playing since she was in the 6th grade. Growing up in a musical family, she was counting 16th notes since she began to talk. Katie played in multiple groups in Fort Collins, CO, from the Fort Collins Children’s Theater to the Poudre Valley Health and Wellness Orchestra.

Katie was also the Drum Captain of the championship-winning Fossil Ridge High School Marching Band, and very involved with musical opportunities at the school.

Here in Georgia, she plays with the Georgia Brass Band, Zephyr Instrumental, and Gwinnett Symphonic Wind Orchestra, to name a few organizations.

Katie is enrolled in Georgia Gwinnett College for Biology with a concentration in Cell Biology.
